FREE SOFTWARE - YES ABSOLUTELY FREE Microsoft products for browsing and e-mailing are supplied as part of the “Windows” software so most people are not aware of other alternatives - some of which could reduce your exposure to all the nasties that abound on the Internet. Internet Explorer and Outlook and Express are prime targets for Virus writers and Hackers as they seem to have a down against the Microsoft Products. There are FREE replacements that are well tried and tested and that are pretty much left alone by the Hackers. What are they? Firefox and Thunderbird - are available from Mozilla - and can run alongside your existing Programmes so you could install them and try them out for FREE. Opera is also worth a look - also FREE.
